Honda Jazz: Will it Tri?

Jeremy Go

I recently got a 2015 Honda Jazz and the question I keep getting asked is how many bikes does it fit?

So for this blog post, I won’t be talking about its fuel efficiency, trick touch screen controls, and the included backup camera.

Instead, I will go straight to the reason I bought the car. This…

Yup, fits two bikes with plenty of space to spare. No extra tools or requirements. Just take off the front wheels. I suggest securing the bikes with the seatbelt to prevent it moving around. Tri bikes would fit as well, just turn the handlebars so the aerobars aren’t sticking out.

Bike boxes will fit as well.

Here it is with one of the back seats up, so you can actually carry 3 pax plus the bike box. Enough room for you, your bike, and the Sherpa/cheerleader you dragged along.

With a bike rack on…

“Well, not really I guess. I think he’s done us well but maybe it’s time,” said another fan.

#1 Seed Williams Beats Pliskova In Her First Match At Stanford

CBS San Francisco

STANFORD (CBS/AP) — Top-ranked Serena Williams won in her first match since defaulting in a doubles match with sister Venus at Wimbledon, beating Karolina Pliskova 7-5, 6-2 on Wednesday night in the second round of the Bank of the West Classic.

At Wimbledon, Williams tried to play through a viral infection that caused her to lose her equilibrium during the doubles match. On Wednesday night, encouraged by a large crowd, Williams fought through a tough first set before she found her legs and took control of the match with a big second set.

In the quarterfinals, Williams will meet the winner of Thursday’s match between fifth-seeded Ana Ivanovic and qualifier Carol Zhao, a Stanford sophomore playing in her first WTA event.

Earlier, Varvara Lepchenko beat second-seeded Angieszka Radwanska 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 to advance to the quarterfinals.

Arizona’s Peterson says being highest-paid cornerback in NFL ‘a big deal’

GLENDALE, Ariz. — Patrick Peterson is the highest-paid cornerback in the NFL.

Just ask him.

Not only did he tweet out the terms of his new contract — five years, $70 million, $48 million guaranteed — he referred to himself as the highest-paid at his position at least five times in the Arizona Cardinals news conference announcing the new deal on Wednesday — twice before he was ever asked a question.

He’s long maintained he’s the league’s best cornerback. Now he says has higher goals — the playoffs, a Super Bowl title, the Hall of Fame.

And Peterson doesn’t speak as if he’s boasting, rather just a matter of the facts.

In just three years, he has become, as he put it, “a face of the organization.”

“‘He’s earned it,” Cardinals President Michael Bidwill said, “and I agree — he’s the best defensive corner in the league.”

Peterson is the…

Kevin Durant keeping his free agency options open, won’t rule out going home to Washington

Smirfitts Speech

Kevin Durant still has two years remaining on the five-year, $86-million extension he signed with the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2010, but speculation is already growing that a homecoming could be in his future plans.

Asked Tuesday whether he would consider returning to his native Washington, D.C., Durant said it is too early to tell.

“I grew up watching the Wizards, the Bullets; I grew up taking the train to that arena all the time,” Durant said, viaKen Berger of “I watched Georgetown. I watched the Bullets. I watched the Mystics. So that whole city is a part of me; it’s in my blood. Like I said, I love going back home to see my family and stuff and playing there, but I love Oklahoma City, too.”

Durant didn’t entirely rule out the possibility, though.

“Look, we’re going to put it all on the table,” he said. “It’s been talked…
