Pirates Fans Unhappy With Post-Season Ticket Guidelines

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – There are fewer empty seats at PNC Park this year, thanks to the Pirates’ playoff run last season.

And that’s led to some confusion over who will get post-season tickets this year.

Filling the seats at PNC Park isn’t the challenge it used to be. Die-hards want to be there for all the games. Some fans are happy with half – and others buy a 20-pack.

“We’re three triplets here, we always go to games,” said one fan. “There’s an inherent responsibility to provide what they say they’re going to provide or what they expect the consumer to buy.”

He’s talking about the new ticketing guidelines. Twenty-game plan holders will now only be able to purchase a max of two post-season strips during the exclusive online sale.
