The Eve of Everton

The Piccadilly Line.

It’s been an eventful week of Arsenal football as the Premier League season got underway with the rare Opening Day win for the gunners. We were able to triumph after going down early vs. Palace and getting a winner from Aaron Ramsey…again.

Yesterday, the team travelled to Istanbul to face Besiktas in the Champions League Qualifier, a match that ended 0-0. To be honest, I was always going to be content with an away draw, but the sending off of Aaron Ramsey will cause an uncomfortable change in the midfield. Our feelings towards this of course would be a lot rosier if that wonderful piece of play by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain had resulted in a winning goal.
