The Analyst’s 2014 NFL Preview: NFC South

WAFFLE REPORT

The NFC south has made a reputation as one of the most competitive divisions in the NFL over the past several years.  Every team in this division has a chance to win.  However, I can see the entire division taking a small step back this year, as there is quite a bit of turnover.

1. Saints NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

The Saints are one of the lead contenders for the Superbowl this year.  They finally shook up their consistently great offense by trading away versatile running back Darren Sproles and picking up Brandin Cooks in the draft.  This training camp and preseason has displayed a much improved RB Mark Ingram.  Also, TE Jimmy Graham is back and healthy after playing through a hamstring injury for half of the 2013 season.  Finally, the Saints still have WR Marques Colston, RB Pierre Thomas, RB Khiry Robinson, WR Kenny Stills, and last but not least…
