Alabama and Auburn Facing “Cupcakes” in Week Two

Huntsville, Ala. – (WHNT) The Crimson Tide and Tigers struggled at times in their opening week games, but both came away with the win. Many people are criticizing Alabama and Auburn for the way they played against non-ranked opponents, but those critics would laugh even more at the two teams coming to town this week. FAU and San Jose State are essentially coming to Alabama to collect a pay check and fill valuable spots on the schedule. That’s not sugar coating anything. If you have a different opinion I’ll be glad to hear it.

Nick Saban and Gus Malzahn are trying to get their teams to avoid playing down to a pair of teams they “should” handle easily. This week both coaches addressed those concerns to the media. Here’s what they had to say.
