In the Midst of a multi-week stretch that featured one of the most horrendous black eyes for the sport of football since President Roosevelt had to save it, Florida State Quarterback Jameis Winston gave all current college athletes another reminder of just how many eyeballs are watching them. Jameis Winston showed a serious lack of judgment this past week; and I hope that a mentor can teach Jameis that his suspension against Clemson should only weigh on him in the fact that he is letting his team mates down by not playing. Even though it is not a wise belief to think that 18-22 year old boys will always make the correct choices, Heisman winning quarterbacks MUST understand that they are held to a higher standard.

Jameis, may I suggest the “Derek Jeter Rule” to come in effect for the rest of your time at Florida State?…
