You don’t need a ticket to enjoy a Giants game at AT&T Park.
FOX40 found hundreds of Giants faithful taking in the atmosphere of Tuesday’s National League Championship Series game from outside the ballpark.
“It’s the best ballpark in America,” said one fan near McCovey Cove, happy to simply have a radio and a view of the stadium scoreboard. “The atmosphere outside is just as exciting as inside.”
Another fan, Thomas Franco, sat happily on a lawn chair at the foot of the Willey McCovey statue, his lunch cooler and radio at his side, taking in “the particles.”
“The particles are something that comes from the dugout that the Giants provide for their fans and visa versa,” said Franco.
“The most important things in life are usually free,” another outside fan observed.
