Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers surprised four kids who have lost a parent serving in the military, as part of the itsAaron campaign.
Sisters Alexis, Starr and Kylee lost father SPC Grant Dampier during the war in Iraq. Dylan lost his father, SSgt. Chad Simon after he was hit by an IED in Iraq.
The kids spent time at Wisconsin’s Camp Hometown Heroes, which hosts young people who have lost a loved one in the U.S. Military.
The video opens with text saying “Since 9/11 nearly 5,000 children have lost a parent who served in the U.S. Military.”
Aaron Rodgers and David Gruber created itsAaron, giving kids a chance to hang out with the all star quarterback.
