With a lot of work to do to get back in contention, Tiger Woods got off to a promising start Friday.
Woods, whose 1-over 73 in the first round left him tied for 31st, 10 shots back of leader Jordan Spieth, started his second round with a birdie and a par on his first two holes. Spieth, meanwhile, birdied two of his first five holes to get to 10-under and extend his lead to five shots.
