CHICAGO — Two games originally scheduled for Saturday between the Chicago White Sox and Kansas City Royals have been postponed due to rain, the team announced.
The conclusion of Friday night’s game, which was suspended in the 9th inning with the score 2-2 and originally set for completion Saturday, has been rescheduled for Sunday at 1:10 p.m.
Sunday’s regularly scheduled game will begin following the conclusion of that game. Fans with tickets dated April 26 will be allowed to enter the ballpark to see both games.
Gates will open to fans at 11:40 a.m. Sunday.
A makeup date for Saturday’s regularly scheduled game at 1:10 p.m. has not yet been determined.
