Not so for some members of the Baltimore Orioles, it would seem, since there were reports during their recent visit to the Rogers Centre that they were quite displeased by its new turf surface, which everyone agrees is a bit slow in the early going. Those complaints took on a new level of grumble on Friday when a Baltimore report said Orioles players had considered not playing on Tuesday, after Jimmy Paredes took a ground ball to the face, off a bad hop, during fielding practice.
