Cubs To Open Left Field Bleachers At Wrigley On Monday

CHICAGO (CBS) — When the Cubs return to Wrigley Field to face the Mets next Monday, the left field bleachers will be open for the first time since the team started its stadium renovations last fall.

While there’s still work to be done on the left field bleachers, the Cubs said they’ll be open for fans on Monday, with an increased capacity of about 500 seats, offsetting seats lost in other areas during the Wrigley overhaul.

The left field bleachers include two new standing-room sections the Cubs are calling “The Well” and “The Porch.” Each section is designed for group outings, and can accommodate up to 150 people in total.

There also will be a new concession area in center field, with wider walkways for fans.

Ticket prices in the new bleacher sections vary; going for $22 to $115 for group outings in the standing-room sections, depending on the package…
