WASHINGTON – Wizards point guard John Wall was ruled out for this evening’s Eastern Conference semifinal game against the Atlanta Hawks at Verizon Center.
Wall, an NBA All-Star this season, has five non-displaced fractures in his left wrist and hand. He already missed Game 2 of the series on Tuesday night in Atlanta after being injured in the first game of the series.
Wizards coach Randy Wittman would only say that Wall wouldn’t play in Game 3. He wouldn’t speculate on Wall’s status beyond Saturday’s game. The best-of0seven series is tied 1-1.
