CLEVELAND (92.3 The Fan) – Chicago Bulls forward Taj Gibson didn’t appreciate a fan throwing a towel at him as he left the floor following an ejection in the fourth quarter Tuesday night at Quicken Loans Arena.
Gibson was charged with a flagrant-2 and tossed after he kicked Matthew Dellavedova in the back in retaliation for the Cavs guard locking his left leg with his 2 legs while laying on his stomach. Dellevedova reacted after being shoved to the floor by Gibson on a box-out. He was also clobbered in the face by Gibson on a legal pick moments earlier on the same play that may have contributed to the dust-up.
While unhappy with the ejection, it was having a towel thrown at him by a fan as he exited the floor that angered Gibson most.
