PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — The Philadelphia Flyers have signed 5-11, 188 lb free-agent right wing Aaron Palushaj, according to general manager Ron Hextall.
Palushaj, 25 (9/7/1989), is returning to North America after playing the 2014-15 season in the Kontinental Hockey League. He split the season between Medveščak Zagreb and Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg, recording a total of seven goals and 14 assists for 21 points in 53 games.
A native of Livonia, Michigan, Palushaj has appeared in a total of 68 NHL games for Montreal, Colorado and Carolina, collecting three goals and 11 assists for 14 points while averaging 9:02 per game. He has also appeared in 190 career American Hockey League games, posting 54 goals and 82 assists for 136 points.
