INDEPENDENCE, Ohio (AP) — Cavaliers All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving took part in the team’s shootaround and remains questionable for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals with an injured left knee.
Irving wore a new brace on his knee for the second day in a row. He worked on his shooting and did some cutting at the team’s facility. Irving sat out Game 2 in Atlanta on Friday, but the Cavs won without him to take a commanding lead over the Hawks.
Irving has been slowed by tendinitis in the knee and a sprained right foot throughout the postseason.
Matthew Dellavedova started for Irving on Friday and will likely get the nod again if he can’t play.
