‘Free Tom Brady’ Rally Draws Hundreds Of Patriots Fans

CBS Boston

FOXBORO (CBS) — Hundreds of fans rallied in support of Tom Brady Sunday as the New England Patriots quarterback fights a four-game suspension for his role in DeflateGate.

The crowd started gathering outside Gillette Stadium before 11 a.m. Sunday for what organizers said on Facebook was “a peaceful rally to protest the unjust football arrest” of Brady.

Brady’s supporters were decked out in Patriots gear on the sunny day before Memorial Day. They wore No. 12 jerseys, and made homemade signs reading “Free Tom Brady” and decrying the NFL’s “Kangaroo Court.”

One couple even said they would delay their honeymoon until Brady was back on the field.
