The Oklahoma City Thunder have officially announced their coaching staff under new head coach Billy Donovan.
Donovan’s staff will include new additions in Anthony Grant, Monty Williams, and Maurice Cheeks, while Mark Bryant and Darko Rajakovic will be retained from the previous staff under Scott Brooks.
Grant had been the head coach at Alabama and Virginia Commonwealth, and previously was an assistant to Donovan at Florida.
Williams has the been head coach of the New Orleans Pelicans the past five seasons, and was an assistant on the USA men’s national team.
Cheeks was an assistant for four years under Brooks, before leaving to become head coach at Detroit.
The Thunder took their time in making the hires and the announcement.
It’s been two months since Donovan was hired as the head coach to replace Brooks.
